This is exceptionally well-made table-leaf hardware from Poettker, a German firm that has specialized in making table hardware for over 50 years.
Used in combination with table-extension slides, this mechanism lets you build a folding table leaf that stores unobtrusively beneath the table top. When needed, the leaf pivots and unfolds into position once the table halves are separated.
Suitable for closed- or open-frame construction, the tube-hinge mechanism is for leaves up to 1000mm wide.
The included 1-metre tube can be cut to length; it seats on two side-mount posts, each with a bushing for smooth operation.
Includes four plastic brackets to secure the leaf and allow it to pivot on the tube. The table leaf rests on a custom-made wooden wedge-shaped ramp attached to a steel L-bracket/support (sold separately).
Folding leaf hinges let you build two-piece leaves that fold for compact storage.
