Shining bright, evenly diffused light directly at your hands, this is an excellent light for up-close work. The quality of the light cast by the chip-on-board (COB) LEDs softens shadows and illuminates fine details clearly. Unlike with overhead task lighting, you can aim the flexible arms as needed, so your work isn’t obscured by the shadows of your hands or tools.
The light has two brightness settings and is powered by three AAA batteries (not included). Measures about 25" from end to end and weighs just over 5 oz, so it’s unobtrusive to wear.
