Description

A simple instrument played primarily with the thumbs, the Kalimba originates in Africa, where it is still used to accompany songs.

The eight keys, arranged in diatonic scale (a complete octave), resonate softly against a cedar board and are numbered for easy reference when playing melodies from the included instructional songbook. It is quiet, melodic and compelling – and well within the skills of most (you'll be playing your first melody within minutes).
