Bread-Making Kit

After testing this kit, we wondered how breadmaking could get much simpler.

The kit includes a flexible silicone bowl that lets you make bread using a single container, without needing to flour work surfaces or use additional baking pans. You can mix the ingredients, knead the dough, leave it to proof (rise) and put it in the oven to bake, all in the same bowl.

A tab closure holds the bowl's sides together, leaving openings at the ends to let steam escape during baking, and allowing a crust to form.

For making smaller loaves, the kit includes a mini baguette pan with four molds that are perforated to permit heat and air circulation. The 10" diameter bowl closes to about the size of a slim football; the baguette pan is 11 1/4" x 7 3/4" x 5/8" (approximate dimensions). Both are made of thick silicone and are rated for -76°F to 428°F (-60°C to 220°C).

Dishwasher safe. Comes with a spatula, instructions and recipes.
