This tool set earns a place in any workshop. The true stars of the set are the quick-change handles that fit various tools, from files to reciprocating and jigsaw blades.
To change tools, simply pull back the trigger, slide out the tool, insert another and release. The spring-loaded steel clamping mechanism automatically adjusts to grip round, square, flat or triangular tangs, holding them firmly and in line with the handle. Both handles are made of high-strength plastic and have a cushioned grip coating.
The set includes a total of 15 files and blades.
The 5 3/4" handle fits the seven larger tools: one 5" 18 tpi reciprocating saw blade for plastic or metal, one 5 3/4" 9 tpi blade for fine wood cuts, one 5" 6 tpi blade for faster wood cuts, one 10" 24 tpi hacksaw blade for plastic or metal, and three 8" files (flat, three-sided and half-round).
The 4 3/4" handle fits the eight smaller tools: two 3" 14 tpi jigsaw blades (one for wood, one for metal) and six diamond files (one flat square-tip, two flat spear-tip, one three-sided, one four-sided and one round), each 5 1/2" long overall with about 2" of grit surface.
Each handle and its compatible tools come in a durable nylon roll with a hook-and-loop closure.
