88K2150 - 8 oz Delrin-Faced Brass Hammer
For tasks such as installing guitar frets, adjusting blades in wooden planes, or tapping project parts into position, this hammer’s 8 oz turned brass head has the mass needed to deliver a forceful blow but isn’t hard enough to deform steel.
It has one brass face, while the other is capped with Delrin, a non-marring polymer that is slightly more forgiving and will not accidentally dent woods of medium density.
Both faces have a bellied profile and lightly radiused edges, and the head is fitted securely to a 9 1/2" hickory handle. Superbly balanced for good control, this is a true finesse tool for tasks that demand a careful but persuasive touch.
