What sets this gauge apart from typical sliding bevels is the dual locking system that provides separate controls for the blade rotation and slide.

The robust locking mechanism ensures that set angles won’t be lost as you move from measuring to cutting, and it also allows you to lengthen or shorten the blade extension as needed while keeping the angle as set.

Using a flat-head screwdriver, you can turn the rotation screw to lock or loosen the blade or permit some blade movement (with effort). The slide screw lets you adjust the blade length while the set angle is locked or, alternatively, lock the blade in the slot and change the angle.

The 4" blade is 3/32" thick and easily stores in the tool’s alloy steel body; overall dimensions are 4 3/8" × 3/4" × 11/16". Weighs 10 oz.
