55P2010 - Luthier Thickness Caliper
This caliper has a 210mm (8 1/4") deep throat, giving it the reach needed to measure the thickness at any point of a guitar back or top. It has a large, easy-to-read dial graduated in 1/10mm and a maximum capacity of 30mm.
The stylus tips are broad and gently rounded to help avoid marring delicate materials. A thumb lever raises the stylus, permitting one-handed use and leaving your other hand free to hold the workpiece. The caliper also has a pivoting foot to stand it upright.
CNC-machined aluminum, the frame is both lightweight and rigid.
Made in the USA with a German-made dial gauge.
