05N4659 – Set of 2 Veritas Imperial Edge Rules & End Stop

Until October 1, 2026, we’re offering this set of two Veritas Imperial edge rules and a large edge rule end stop at a saving of 15% compared to buying the items separately.
This set includes two edge rules in 18" and 24" lengths as well as a large rule end stop that is compatible with both.
The great advantage of this style of rule is that it saddles the edge of a workpiece, making it easy to hold accurately in position when measuring and marking layout lines.
Ours have an acute interior angle to ensure that they seat well, even over saw whiskers, and bevelled edges with etched graduations to minimize parallax errors. This design also simplifies transfer of perpendicular lines from face to edge, and is particularly convenient when holding and marking off dowel rod stock.
The wide leg on the L-shaped cross-section is for face work, while the shorter leg is for narrow stock and edge work.
The rules have face depths of 1" and 7/16". The face of the wide leg reads left to right, while the short leg reads right to left – making it easy to cross-reference when transferring marks from face to edge.
You can also use the rules on a flat surface – and, since the shape makes them much easier to pick up than a flat rule, you may find yourself reaching for them as your go-to rules. Made from aluminum with a black anodized finish.
The edge rule end stop locks in place using a knurled stainless-steel screw. The geometry of the complementary extrusion shape automatically squares the stop as it is tightened in place.
All are made in Canada.
Edge rules also come in 6" and 12" lengths, sold separately.
Metric rules are also available; the large end stop fits the 450mm and 600mm lengths.
