Description
These compact planes are useful for working on smaller-scale items such as instruments, models or jewellery boxes.
Made from Indonesian ebony and brass, each plane has an adjustable high-speed steel (Rc62-64) blade. The block plane footprint is just 3 1/8" × 13/16" and the chisel plane just 2 15/16" × 1/2". Blades are 1/2" wide by 1/16" thick.
The chisel plane, in particular, is frequently handy in normal casework. Yet another reason for buying these is that they are a pleasure to look at.
