While this bit was originally made to fit Yankee-style spiral screwdrivers (no longer in production), it is still usable chucked into a standard drill.
Its extra length gives it reach comparable to a standard 1" bit and bit holder (and since it is directly chucked, it won't accidentally come loose/pop free of the holder when driving screws).
Shank is 5.5mm (7/32").
