Description
This durable, economical tool rest does an excellent job simplifying both internal and external turning for bowls 8" to 12" in diameter. The pronounced curve mirrors the shape of a bowl, allowing turners to have full support as they turn into the bowl blank to produce smooth cuts without having to readjust the tool rest as you would with a straight rest.
The rest threads onto the appropriate post for your lathe, with two sizes available separately, 4" long with a 5/8" diameter or 5" long with a 1" diameter. The 1" diameter post fits the Rikon 70-150VSR and 70-1420VSR lathes.
