Tests have shown that as much as 50% of a collet chuck's gripping power is lost if the dovetail angle is out by as little as 5°.
This chisel removes any guesswork by cutting an exact 15° dovetail recess. Suitable for inboard turning only. The high-speed steel blade measures 6" long. 14 1/2" long overall.
An excellent way to regain the full gripping power of your chuck while improving the safety of your chuck-mounted work.
