16J6792 - 1 5/8" x 13/16" x 1/2" Small Reversible Panel Frame Bit

This cutter assembly consists of a shaft and two cutters, which can be reversed to cut rails or matching stiles. Designed for use with material as thin as 5/8".
Complete with pilot bearings, for curved or straight work, it cuts a 3/16" wide slot, 3/8" deep. The 3/16" slot width is also ideal for 3mm thick glass.
Our professional/industrial grade bits have tungsten carbide inserts ground on CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machines using 600x diamond wheels. Tungsten carbide maintains its hardness at high temperatures and holds an edge far longer than high-carbon or high-speed steels. The bit bodies have a non-stick coating for easy resin removal.
For better safety, this bit should be used only in a router table equipped with a fence and not used free hand.
The bit includes an advanced polymer friction-fit holder that can be mounted horizontally or upright.
