Ground from high-carbon steel, PGT (precision-ground tooth) blades have a unique fast-cutting tooth geometry, with wide gullets between the teeth for rapid chip clearance and reduced risk of burning.
The teeth on the lower blade section are reversed so they cut on the up stroke, minimizing tear-out and leaving a clean finish that requires little sanding.
The 5RG blade is 0.045” wide and recommended for softwoods 1/2" to 1 1/2” thick and plastic/synthetics up to 1/8” thick. The 7RG blade is 0.047” wide and recommended for softwoods and hardwoods 1/2" to 3/4" thick and plastic/synthetics up to 3/8”. The 9RG blade is 0.049” wide and recommended for synthetics up to 3/4" thick, plastic up to 1/2" thick and hardwoods 1/2" to 1 1/2” thick. All three blades are 0.018” thick.
Sold in packages of six 5 1/4" blades with plain (unpinned) ends. Made in USA.
