These blades are excellent in both ripping and crosscut work. The combination 4&R tooth pattern (in sets of four cutters and a raker, followed by a deep gullet) gives a smooth finish and good chip clearance. 10° hook.
The blade to buy if you are getting only one. Industrial-quality, chrome-alloy tool steel, hardened to Rc44. Carbide teeth (C3 or C4 used) are finish ground with diamond wheels.
The 8" blade has a blade kerf of 0.126"; maximum rpm is 9000. The 10" blade has a blade kerf of 0.134"; maximum rpm of 7600. Arbor size is 5/8".
