Exceptionally sharp and easily controlled, the double-bevelled high-carbon spring-steel blade (Rc52-54) comes fully honed, ready for use. The detail knife has a 1 5/16" blade with a fine point for making precise cuts; the roughing knife has a sturdy, straight 1 3/4" long blade for quickly shaping work.
Basswood Blank Sets
A light-colored, medium-density wood often favored for carving, basswood is easy to work, with straight grain and a fine, even texture that takes detail well.
