61M0399 - Shapton Diamond Glass Lapping Plate (DGLP)

The DGLP uses float glass as a substrate and has recesses optimized for lapping stones, ensuring that swarf is carried away from the working surface while preventing hydraulic lock during use. Diamond grit size is in the 45µ to 54µ range, making the DGLP suitable for use only with stones finer than 30µ (0.4µ to 30µ range).
It has a working surface 254mm × 72mm (10" × 2 13/16") and weighs about 750g (26.5 oz). With an over-molded rubber frame, it can be used on the stone and field holder or on its own.
