27K2911 - Walrus Oil Furniture Finish, 8 oz (236ml)
This penetrating oil finish soaks deeply into hardwoods, darkening the tone of the wood and highlighting its color and figure. A blend of polymerizing safflower oil, hemp seed oil and tung oil, it has a light lime scent, contains no solvents or driers, and is safe for use on food-contact surfaces. (Despite its name, no walrus oil is used to make this product.)
Easy to use, it can be applied in a thin layer over the entire surface, then allowed to penetrate for 24 hours before being wiped and buffed, yielding a matte finish. Additional coats can be added until the desired effect is obtained. Depending on temperature and humidity, it may take up to a week to dry to the touch completely and up to 4 weeks to cure fully.
