Granadillo (Brya ebenus) – Also known as cocuswood or Jamaican ebony, this very hard, dense and fine-grained wood is a deep reddish brown streaked with darker brown. It usually has straight or slightly wavy grain and turns and works well.
Available in three sizes suitable for small turnings, these blanks can also be useful when you need only a small amount of wood, such as for inlays, plugs, splines or other decorative accents.
