This mounting plate and post let you quickly position a Kreg hold-down clamp in the perforated table top of a Festool MFT/3 multifunction table. The bolt supplied with the clamp is used to attach it to the mounting plate. The steel post is 20mm in diameter and 11/16" long – just less than the table top’s 3/4” thickness – threaded internally for use with the supplied clamping knob (or an MFT accessory clamping knob).
The steel mounting plate adds 3/8" to the maximum capacity of the Kreg clamps but doesn’t affect their minimum; you can still adjust the clamps to hold materials as thin as a sheet of paper against a surface. The plate can also be used interchangeably with any of our 3/4" diameter posts.
