The rotating head lets you choose between two pairs of 5/8" deep jaws. One jaw pair is 1 1/2" wide with smooth faces to avoid marring your work, and the other is 2 1/2" wide with crosshatched faces for enhanced grip as well as notches for holding round stock. Maximum opening of each is 2 1/2". The swivel base also rotates 360°, so you can readily position the work for best access.
The vise has a 2" × 1" flat anvil for light shaping jobs, flattening pins or peening rivets, and a fully enclosed lead screw to keep debris out of the threads. Mounted, the 6 1/2" long vise stands 5 1/2" high; the swivel base is 3 3/4" wide and has three through holes for permanent installation (1/4" bolts not included).
