Flexcut Carving Knives

Each of these knives has an ergonomically shaped wooden handle suitable for extended carving periods. Exceptionally sharp and easily controlled, the double-bevelled high-carbon spring-steel blade (Rc52-54) comes fully honed, ready for use. The detail knife has a 1 5/16" blade with a fine point for making precise cuts; the roughing knife has a sturdy, straight 1 3/4" long blade for quickly shaping work.

Basswood Blank Sets

A light-colored, medium-density wood often favored for carving, basswood is easy to work, with straight grain and a fine, even texture that takes detail well. The three-piece set includes 1 3/4" × 1 3/4" blanks of various lengths. The 10-piece set includes two 3/4" × 1" × 2", two 3/4" × 1" × 4", three 3/4" × 1 1/2" × 2" and three 3/4" × 1 1/2" × 4" blanks.
