Kreg’s line of Ionic Drive cordless tools runs on long-life lithium-ion batteries that deliver a combination of ample power and run time. The high-efficiency 20V brushless motors can power through difficult tasks without binding or stalling. Circuitry in the battery senses load on the motor and adjusts torque, delivering additional power in demanding situations and helping conserve battery life under lighter loads.
Designed for smooth, controlled sanding, this sander is comfortable and well balanced. It has a variable speed control from 6000 to 12,000 opm and a 3/32" orbit, letting you perform a range of tasks, from heavy stock removal through to fine finish sanding.
The ergonomic grip offers two hand positions for better control and reduced fatigue during extended use. Vibration-damping construction and a balanced fan further improve user comfort and help produce consistent surfaces. Sealed switches and a dust-sealed pad help protect internal components, extending their life. The 5" hook-and-loop pad allows quick abrasive changes and has eight holes for effective dust collection. Dust is captured in the included cloth bag, or the sander can be connected to a shop vacuum using its 1 1/4" ID/1 1/2" OD port. 3-year warranty.
Batteries and battery charger sold separately. Two battery capacities are available: 2Ah for when the tool needs to be light and maneuverable, and 4Ah for increased run time.
