Kreg’s line of Ionic Drive cordless tools runs on long-life lithium-ion batteries that deliver a combination of ample power and run time. The high-efficiency 20V brushless motors can power through difficult tasks without binding or stalling. Circuitry in the battery senses load on the motor and adjusts torque, delivering additional power in demanding situations and helping conserve battery life under lighter loads.
Compact and well balanced, this cordless trim router provides the precision and control required for fine detail work, edge trimming and profile cuts. It has six speed settings, from 10,000 to 30,000 rpm, allowing adjustment to suit the bit size and material. A soft-start feature brings the motor up to speed smoothly, reducing torque reaction at start-up.
Bit projection is set with a rack-and-pinion mechanism that permits fine, positive adjustment. The clear, non-marring base plate doesn’t obscure your work, and dual LEDs illuminate the cutting area. The base plate accepts bits up to 1 3/8" in diameter. An integral 1 1/4" dust port helps keep the workspace clear. 3-year warranty.
Built with a die-cast base and metal motor housing for durability, the router has sealed switches for protection against dust and debris. Bit changes are fast and easy – the base disengages with the flip of a lever, and the spindle locks with the press of a button.
Comes with 1/4" and 6mm collets.
Batteries and battery charger sold separately. Two battery capacities are available: 2Ah for when the tool needs to be light and maneuverable, and 4Ah for increased run time.
