Chechen Hobby Wood Blanks

Chechen (Metopium brownie) – Variegated in color from brown to reddish brown with a golden luster, it is typically straight grained and fine-textured, with areas of interlocking grain in some pieces.

Sized for small turnings, this blank can also be useful when you need only a small amount of wood, such as for inlays, plugs, splines or other decorative accents.
