This doorstop not only prevents a door from striking a wall or molding, it holds the door securely so it won't accidentally close. The magnetic post mounts to a wall or floor, and contacts a door-mounted strike plate. The central button on the strike plate is spring-loaded to absorb impact. The magnet holds even heavy doors firmly, yet releases with a tug.
The post stands 3" tall and has a 1 3/4" diameter base; the strike plate projects 3/4" and has a 1 1/8" diameter base. Both install on concealed mounting plates. Made of zamak and steel; available in black, polished brass, white, polished chrome, satin nickel, antique bronze, and satin chrome finishes.
