An inexpensive and simple method of ensuring small box lids aren't opened too far (which overstresses or damages the hinges).
Stays attach with two small brads or screws to the inside of the box lid and side. Sold in matched sets of one right and one left stay.
The nickel-plated stays are a tad larger than the brass-plated stays. Size given is extended arm length.
