With this mechanism, you can build a coffee table with a top that can be raised to hold work or food at a more comfortable height.
Providing about 10 5/8" of rise and 9 1/2" of lateral travel, it uses gas springs for smooth, controlled operation, and has horizontal braces to prevent the assembly from racking.
Made of steel with a black powder coating, the mechanism supports up to 110 lb and measures about 17 1/2" × 19" × 5" high when closed.
