Hexagonal Mechanical Pencil Hardware

This hardware produces a simple, elegant mechanical pencil with a banded finial and a hexagonal section just behind the tip to prevent it from rolling on a desk or workbench. It has a large eraser set on the end of the push-button lead-advance mechanism, and a lead sharpener built into the eraser holder.

Available in gold, antique brass, antique pewter and chrome finishes, it comes with a 2mm 2B pencil lead (replacements sold separately in packages of 20).

Requires a standard "A" mandrel, a bushing set, a 3/8" drill bit and a minimum 3/4" × 3 1/4" pen blank, all sold separately. Because mishaps can occur during turning or assembly, we also offer brass replacement tubes.
