With this kit, you can create a custom handbell by adding a handle of your own making, whether turned or carved freehand from wood you supply. With a classic shape and a clear, melodious tone, the unhandled 2.6 oz bell is stamped from solid brass, tumbled to a bright finish, and lightly lacquered to resist scuffs and tarnish.
It is 2" tall by 2 5/8" in diameter, supplied with a cast zinc clapper and a screw eye with a 3/4" threaded shank for mounting a handle.
Made by a sixth-generation family business in operation in East Hampton, Connecticut, since 1832, and now the last manufacturer in the United States still solely devoted to bellmaking.
