These may not be high-fashion footwear, but they certainly are practical. With a pair by the door, you'll never be tempted to take out the compost in your slippers or wear your spouse's boots out to the garden to pick a few herbs. They slip on and off easily, and the seamless construction helps keep dirt and moisture out, while the deep treads offers good traction in wet, muddy conditions.
If the clogs get dirty – and they probably will – they can simply be brushed or hosed off. Baffin, a leading Canadian footwear company, agreed to bring back one of their classic designs, producing them in limited quantities exclusively for Lee Valley. Made of durable, flexible TPR (thermoplastic rubber), they're tough but lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Excellent value for convenient, no-fuss footwear – no tying up laces to slow down your mad dash to catch the garbage truck. Unisex design (men's and women's sizing listed). Limited quantities.
