DescriptionThis is the best way we’ve found to chop nuts. Not only safer than using a knife, it’s tidier too, keeping the chopped nuts contained in the bottom so they don’t scatter to the four corners of your cutting board (and beyond).
Unlike a food processor, which can leave some nuts whole while grinding others too fine, it yields pieces of a relatively consistent size. The blades, driven by a simple hand-crank mechanism, make quick work of chopping a range of hard and soft nut types, and a non-slip ring on the base keeps it from sliding around on a counter while you turn the handle.
Graduated to 1 1/2 cups for easy reference, the container unscrews from the chopper with a half-turn so you can dispense the chopped nuts as needed.
