Though small and economically priced, they are not cheaply made. Standing only about 2 1/2" tall, each has a shatter-resistant acrylic body; the pepper mill mechanism is stainless steel and the salt mill has a nylon mechanism. They are adjustable for grind size and come partially filled with whole peppercorns and coarse salt.
