Since 1957, Grohmann has been crafting high-grade knives in Pictou, Nova Scotia. With this full-tang blade blank, you can make a custom scalloped-edge paring knife. Supplied with basic instructions for mounting the handle scales, it lets you create a one-of-a-kind knife that is both practical and attractive.
Made of German high-carbon stainless steel (Rc54-56), the 5/64" thick blank measures 8" overall with a 4" cutting edge. It comes with four brass rivets (including one spare) that can fasten handle scales made of the wood of your choice (available separately) measuring 1/2" to 5/8" in total thickness (two 1/4" thick handle scales recommended).
