Originally designed for kitchen use, this small, flexible measuring cup is also well worth having in the workshop for preparing and dispensing small batches of epoxy, finish, stain and other mixtures.
Made of 100% silicone, it won’t readily absorb stains or odors, and has excellent resistance to solvents and other common workshop and household chemicals. The cup flexes easily when squeezed, either to form a narrow spout that permits a tidy, controlled pour, or to release dried-on finish or adhesive from the smooth, non-stick inner walls. The pliable material also provides excellent grip, even with wet hands, and won’t crack or chip if knocked over.
Standing about 3 1/2" tall, it’s marked in 10ml increments to 120ml and in 1/4 oz increments to 4 fl oz, with well-defined graduations that won’t wear off or fade over time.
And while we find it’s an ideal size for many workshop uses, it’s also food-safe, BPA-free, microwave and dishwasher safe, and heat resistant to 400°F (200°C), so it’s perfectly suitable for its intended purpose in the kitchen. Of course, if you’re thinking of using it both for cooking and for workshop duty, we recommend you buy two!
