Discontinued. Limited stock.

Made to cut and strip electrical wire and cable, these tools also excel at cutting rope, sheet metal and other tough material for hobbies, crafts, or general use around the house and workshop. Capable of cutting material up to 13mm (just over 1/2") in diameter, each has thick, sturdy blades made of hardened 420J2 stainless steel, and tough polypropylene handles overmolded with cushioning TPR (thermoplastic rubber) for a comfortable, non-slip grip. Each measures just over 6" overall.

The cable shears have curved blades (hardened to Rc51-55) that neatly cut electrical cable up to 0-gauge (0.3249" diameter), copper stranded conductor up to 3C × 2mm², and soft cable up to 13mm. They also have a convenient wire-cutting notch for aluminum and copper wires up to 0.1" (2.5mm). The spring-loaded handles reopen automatically after each squeeze, minimizing hand strain, and a locking clip keeps the blades closed for safe storage.

With their finer-tipped blades (hardened to Rc56-60) that let you make precise cuts in tricky spots, the electrician scissors cut 16- to 12-gauge cable (1.29 to 2.05mm diameter, including standard 14-gauge household wire), aluminum and copper wire up to 3.5mm, and soft cable up to 13mm. They also have 1.5mm and 2.5mm diameter wire-stripping notches, as well as a crimping notch for attaching wire terminals.

Excellent tools for DIY electrical work and more, available at a great price while quantities last.
