BeaverCraft Belt Knife

This item is not available for this region.

Belt knives have a rugged, portable design that makes them practical well beyond the trail or campsite. This is a good one, made by BeaverCraft, a small Ukrainian manufacturer that has been producing well-made yet inexpensive carving tools since 2014. Despite the enormous challenges of operating in a war zone, they continue to build both their product line and their reputation.

Forged from carbon steel hardened to Rc58-60, the 5" full-tang drop-point blade is sharpened to a keen edge and treated with a distinctive gun-blue finish to protect it from tarnish. The blade is 1/8" thick at the spine so it can be struck with a hammer for splitting wedges or kindling, cutting rope or other tasks demanding brute force. A pattern of notches or “jimping” along the spine provides a secure place to register your thumb when extending it over the blade to bear down on heavy cuts.

Measuring approximately 10" overall, the knife has a contoured European walnut handle and comes with a belt sheath made of chrome-tanned cowhide leather, as well as a length of paracord for attachment to the lanyard loop at the end of the handle.
