This outstanding packable axe is a great option for camping and bushcraft. It has a 2 lb head forged from 5160 steel and hardened to 54-56 HRC for edge retention.
With a 3 1/2" cutting edge, this axe is well suited for chopping, limbing, splitting, felling smaller trees, and even rough carving and hewing. The head features a hardened, extended poll for improved overall balance and for driving metal stakes and wedges.
The head is hafted proud on a durable 24" grade-A hickory handle. Vegetable-tanned leather sheath included.
Made in the USA by a family-run company that has been producing hand-finished axes and tools of the highest quality and durability since 1886.
