These complete blade sets are an excellent upgrade for 99.9% of Stanley and Record-style planes with no modifications other than a simple frog adjustment. The 3/32" thick high-carbon steel blade coupled with a 3mm (0.118") thick chip breaker is a solid combination that will eliminate vibration and chatter.

(Please note that these blades do not fit the newer Stanley "Sweetheart" planes, released in 2009.)
