About Veritas seconds: this stock of our concave spokeshave (05P3311) has some minor cosmetic flaw – a scratch, a pit in the casting or tiny blemishes – but the spokeshave is functionally perfect. Quantities of seconds are limited and expected to sell out quickly.
This spokeshave has been designed for smooth, effective, chatterfree shaping of a wide range of projects from small spindles to large oars. The hardwood handles fitted to the cast-iron body are shaped for comfort and control. The toe serves as a thumb rest, allowing the user to choke up on the body to attain exceptional control for fine work.
