These beautiful gouges are forged from solid high-speed steel flat bar and are finished superbly.
Uncommon in HSS and disappearing quickly in carbon steel, this is a traditional general-purpose gouge.
Although forged gouges are more costly to manufacture than gouges milled from round bar, Henry Taylor still makes them for enthusiasts of traditional quality and style.
They are available individually or as a set of three.
Blades range from 6 3/4" long for the smallest, to 7 1/2" long for the largest. They are 16" to 17" long overall.
