The pair of long rods is for work up to 24" wide. They are included with the Veritas 32 deluxe cabinetmaking system and are compatible (but not included) with the basic system as well as the Veritas shelf-drilling jig.
The pair of extra-long rods is for work up to 36" wide. They are compatible with the Veritas 32 deluxe and basic cabinetmaking systems and as well as the Veritas shelf-drilling jig.

The long rods are included with the Veritas 32 deluxe cabinetmaking system. They are compatible with the basic system and the shelf-drilling jig but are not included with either. The extra-long rods are only available separately.
Both the long and extra-long rods fit the Veritas 32 basic and deluxe cabinetmaking systems and the Veritas shelf-drilling jig.
This item ships as a pair of your choice of long or extra-long clamp rods.
