Used on its own or in combination with other components of Kreg’s modular, expandable 300-series jig system, this economical kit contains the essentials for pocket-hole joinery. Molded from tough glass-reinforced nylon, the double-hole drill guide has hardened steel bushings, a non-slip base, and graduated positioning stops for quick, reliable set-up on 1/2", 3/4", and 1 1/2" material.

An included spacer sets the guides 1 1/2" apart on center, but since the spacer and guides simply snap together with a tool-free twist-and-lock fitting, the parts can be reconfigured multiple ways. For example, linking the guides without the spacer positions them 3/4" apart on center, or you can add extra spacers (available separately) for wider hole placement.

It also includes a 6 1/4" Easy-Set HSS stepped drill bit with a 3/16" diameter by 1/2" pilot, a 3/8" diameter counterbore, and a 1/4" hex shank that’s grooved for use in quick-change chucks. For accurate depth settings, simply align the hole in the depth collar with engraved markings on the shank, which indicate the correct placement for 1/2", 3/4", and 1 1/2" thick material.

The kit comes with a combination hex key and material-thickness gauge, a 6" #2 square-recess driver, and 40 pocket-hole screws (20 each of 2 1/2" outdoor-grade and 1 1/4" indoor-grade screws). It also includes a convenient clamp adapter, compatible with all Kreg clamps (available separately) as well as similar quick-release clamps, used to mount the drill guide directly to one jaw of the clamp, so you can quickly position the guide and lock it in place one-handed.

All parts are supplied in a sturdy plastic organizer case. Made in USA.

With an all-steel construction, the quick-release clamp is adjustable for clamping force and has pads to reduce marring. It has a 2" throat capacity for materials up to 2" thick.
