This 36" × 48" plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes and suggested finishing techniques.
The bench has a full-width end vise and a double row of dog holes. A face vise of the same design is mounted flush with the opposite end of the bench. The vises are supported with steel guide rods that assure years of trouble-free use. This is a bench that will be passed to future generations. When completed, it measures 24" wide by 79" long and 34 1/2" high.
