This 36" × 48" plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes and suggested finishing techniques.

Called the Prairie style, this lamp is similar to those designed by Gustav Stickley, Frank Lloyd Wright and others at the turn of the 20th century. The instructions detail the lead foil technique for assembling the shade, and give recommendations on sources for the stained glass. When complete, this lamp measures 60" high by 22" wide.
