The chamfer guide base for the HLC 82 cordless planer lets you quickly and reliably plane clean, straight bevel chamfers on long boards and square stock. By providing a stable reference surface along a right-angled edge, it allows the planer to glide smoothly while maintaining a consistent chamfer angle.

The wide contact surface delivers excellent stability and control, helping prevent rocking or uneven cuts that are common with freehand planing. This results in uniform, professional-looking chamfers that are difficult to achieve without guided support. Quick to attach and easy to use, it is ideal for clean edge finishing on beams, framing material and solid wood components.
