Mirka DEROS 6" Abranet Ace Kit

This kit pairs a Mirka DEROS electric orbital sander with a selection of Abranet Ace discs to cover a wide range of sanding applications.

Designed to minimize noise and vibration, the DEROS electric sander has a 6" diameter platen and an aggressive 5mm orbit pattern, permitting rapid sanding of large surfaces while yielding consistent finishes in a range of applications.

To reduce clean-up time, avoid health risks associated with airborne dust, and eliminate stray abrasive particles to ensure better surface finishes and longer abrasive life, it has a pattern of holes in the platen that draws dust from across the entire sanding disc, and a rear port for connection to a 1" diameter vacuum hose.

Powered by a 14' grounded cord, its 350W brushless motor performs comparably to a 500W conventional motor. It has a noise rating of 71 dB as well as low vibration output (3.4m/s²) and pairs with the myMirka app to monitor long-term vibration exposure.

In variable-speed mode, the upper control paddle lets you adjust speed on the fly without interrupting your work; pressing the paddle increases the rpms, and a lighter squeeze slows the motor. In fixed-speed mode, you can lock in any of five settings within its 5000 to 10,000 rpm range, with the paddle serving as an on/off switch to stop the tool within seconds. Backed by a 2-year warranty.

The kit comes with 150 mesh abrasive discs (50 each of 80x, 120x and 180x) that use durable ceramic abrasive and a strong net structure for high wear resistance.

The kit also includes a Systainer case for organized storage and transport of the sander and discs.
