The silicon carbide wheel was developed for wear resistance and more aggressive material removal in tough alloys such as high-speed steel. Compatible with the Tormek T-7 or T-8 sharpening system, this 220x grindstone can be used for edge shaping or modified with the stone grader to hone at the equivalent of 1000x.
