Used over oil finishes, this hard wax polish improves moisture resistance, increases sheen and adds color richness to wood.
Made with non-toxic ingredients (carnauba wax, candelila wax, polymerizing safflower oil, hempseed oil, tung oil and lime oil), it contains no solvents or driers and is safe for use on food-contact surfaces. (Despite its name, no walrus oil is used to make this product.)
Simply apply a thin layer of wax, let it set for 1 hour, then buff away the excess for a lustrous satin finish. Repeat until the desired effect is obtained. After the final coat, allow 24 to 48 hours for the surface to become dry to the touch. Depending on temperature and humidity, it may take up to a week to dry to the touch completely and up to 4 weeks to cure fully.
